The estate from the 1st Home Alone movie has been tainted by its now dead owner

Anybody who may have seen the Home Alone slapstick comedy over 35 years ago will not be pleased to learn the owner of the Illinois estate where it was set has been tainted by the discovery the owner was arrested for child porn possession, though he's now been discovered dead:
The 79-year-old former owner of the house from the “Home Alone” movie was found dead Wednesday in Illinois after being accused of having child pornography.

The Lake County Coroner’s Office said John Abendshien’s body was found at the Lake Forest Open Lands: Derwen Mawr Nature Preserve, ABC 7 Chicago reported Thursday.

Abendshien, who was the original owner of the Winnetka house located at 671 Lincoln Avenue, had recently been arrested and charged for possession of the abuse materials.
While the Home Alone films haven't aged well, and screenwriter John Hughes wore them out further by trying to mimic them ad nauseum over a few years with more increasingly stupid comedy films, of course it's terrible it came to this, and now, the first movie for one will be tarnished visually by how the house seen in the film may be recognized by some future generations as having once belonged to a man who comitted offensive crimes. Could it be the former house owner committed suicide? It's not clear. But, he won't be missed, based on what abominations he comitted.

As for the estate itself, what should be done? Demolish it, perhaps, and build a youth center for helping victims of monsters like Abendshien?
